Any tips on internet pet stores?

Avoid pet stores. Find a breeder or rescue.

www.shakeapaw.com is a local puppy place.. they get their dogs from top/well known breeders.. if youre in NJ/NY i'd check them out

My ex gf bought one.. A good AKC dog is over 1k and less than 2k... 2-3k for a show pup

Sounds good will check them out.

Go to a breeders and if you dont need show quality tell them , nonshow quality dogs are much cheaper.

My gf got a teacup recently from petconnectonline.com and paid $1000 plus 300 airfare. The smaller you get, the more expensive too...

The only small dog I would want would be a Boston Terrier.

What comprises a useful dog? I think any pet fydo is generally more useful than a cat, bird or hamster. :winkwink:
