Starting out a paysite.

Just curious. How much content is the recomended minimum to open a small paysite. & for updating, should it be fresh new content daily, weekly, or monthly.
I've got a few sets of some licensed content & have been sitting on it til I have enough to do something with it, or I could build an avs site with it, but thought maybe a paysite cuz then I could use ccbill & have affiliates promote it & make more than if I did avs & did the ll submit shit.
anyway, I haven't bought any movies yet, only images & there's plenty of feeds & webcams I can use inside members area to try for upsell... or is upsell bad inside a paysite?

Look, you have posted 2 threads I have seen in the last few days:
1. You are buying $25 worth of gallery traffic, but not sure where to send it.
2. You were wondering if you could only use the domain name in the site title.

Conclusion:
Learn how to say "You want fries with that?"

You obviously don't read too well. I asked about site titles with a non matching domain, not how you have it here.
Oh, & scuse the fuck out of me for asking for recomendations on where to send it, & it was 25k uniques, does not matter what I paid for it.

Next time you post any questions, I am going to reply like an asshole such as yourself just did.

OH, & it is you that serves me my fries you illiterate shit. Get it right next time.

Hahaha yeah, try figuring out how many happy meals you'll get with that $25...
Why don't you hit up that ICQ bot and ask if she thinks a paysite is a good idea?
:1orglaugh

Best bet would be to long into one of your favorite paysites and me a member for a month.

If it just going to be one site, unlike 40+ from a sponsor like TCG. Then i reccommend you have a lot of start up content and add one set (pics/vids) once a week

You really are an illiterate fuck aren't you?

You seem to have a problem with someone asking about which sponsors to send traffic to? Oh, & it's not my fault the traffic was so cheap. I could care less about the $25, I make that back in half an hour or less :)

You can open a small paysite with very little content. Two things come to mind, either it's a low recurring cost and the site updates.. or a non-rebilling option to the site that doesn't update very often.

Either way, try to put in as much photo content as you can or have, videos always help. The net is filled with free goodies you can put in your members area. Some upsell/free products have some pretty damn good content. You can also lease cheap content.

The members area doesn't have to be huge, as long as the price goes with the site.

You're making $35,000 a month? $432,000 a year?

I don't think you'd need my advice if this is the case. :error

Hustlin Entertainment 11-20-2005 06:38 PM

paysites are apart of the past way too saturated people need to think ahead to make it in this game

Alex From San Diego 11-20-2005 06:50 PM

Burn the content on a gallery....if you don't make money, you can look at the positive and now you have a write off for your taxes....
