not sure if it was posted, but I think this is huge since I know for 100% sure all the "Adult" dating sites do it. They are being sued for sending fake member emails, creating fake profiles, and even for sending employees on fake dates!

How else would they get the site off the ground to begin with.

With all of them claiming so many million members, it is amazing how we still can get a join.

that wouldn't be the point, the point would be these places all hire people to do it, most bigger ones do it in house. if they can prove they do it themselves, they are fucked.

your idea of they can't help if users post fake ones would be their only defense.

but then again, it doesn't cover their asses on sending out automated scripted fake member to member emails showing interest that are fake. I'm sure that can be proven pretty easily.

I have actually caught a large dating site stealing pictures from my site (which is an amateur site) and making profiles with them. We have been able to locate over 100 profiles used with our pictures. Still deciding how to handle it.

no, i was looking at their site and created a free BS profile just to see the rest of it and how they upsell... next thing i know i am getting e-mails every day... everyday from hot chicks who are interested in me... even though the profile said "test text just looking around...." and there was no pic and the profile was obviously not real.

I believe everything except sending employees on fake dates. I mean, seriously, does anyone believe that? These sites have nice profit margins, but its not like users are dropping a grand a month like a russian bride site.

I am pretty sure there are trolls and scammers on the dating sites but they are probably random people not employees.

If their employees are creating fake profile...then that is on them. They will pay for it in the end. I'll believe it when I see the proof. If it's true...then good for the members and shame on the date sites...if it's not true...then they can go fuck themselves.

ain't nothing new really, that sort of scam has been going on long before the internet ever happened.
classified adds in newspapers, magazines etc, etc.
I find it very funny though that when the scam is adopted for the internet it somehow is reborn with new life as if it never existed.
