Corvette's - White Trash Car?
 

I've heard people say they think Corvette's are a white trash car. I'm lookin at the new Vette Z06 and I think it's pretty sweet. What do you guys think? I don't care what people think... I'm just curious why people think this?

When I first moved to Seattle in 2000 a lot of the internet porn guys who made it big all had brand new Vette's. The good old days :)

Z06s looking more and more like a Ferrari, but I always thought it was a white trash car. I'm sure there are some nice people who drive them, but i haven't met them.

Corvettes are now going for $70k a pop. They look more like Ferraris than Vettes these days. Very nice, very fast.

i thought el camino's were white trash cars. or old trans ams with oversized spoilers. at 70k a piece, it is far from what any whitetrash/redneck can afford to dream about.

Yeah, I've noticed that certain makes/models get linked to certain demographics. For example, cabriolets/bugs are supposed to be 'chick' cars, etc

I guess it's the same dynamic at play that links high end cars to certain other demographics.

Camero or Firebird = Whitetrash car.

'Vette = Classly car (especially the old Sting Rays) and the new ones don't look too bad.
