It seems every single place I look there is racism. Comments that 5 years ago would never have been said are common place. Everyone appears to believe that this is normal and people who don't like it should shut up and just accept it.

Hell they actually believe the validity of their comments that all negros are mentally inferior or jews are crooked businessmen or all arabs are terrorists.

Don't get me wrong, I'm no saint but I try to slam the stupidity and call the shots as I see them. I do it on a daily basis with the French postal service. But I still try to give each man/woman a chance to prove their merrit regardless of the circumstance of birth/religion/etc.

Like I mean.... WTF???

Am I in a bad Twilight zone episode?

It's pretty sad and disgusting to see. But when you mention it, I think you're right, it has been about 1.5 years since it started getting bad. There will always be a few assholes but there are just so many now.

I'm on several forums and for the FIRST time, in years, I've had to use the "Ignore function." Because there is no sense in trying to talk to them and they refuse to be anything close to reasonable. It's just less effort to ignore the ignorance. I just can't stomache reading the hatred.

Like I've said before, I'm no saint but there is a big difference in telling a blonde joke and actually believing it. And in some cases, using it to justify a dichotomy of hatred.

Hate, and defining an enemy have been effective tools in attaining and maintaining power.

History is overflowing with examples.

Hitler had his Jews.
Gov Wallace had the blacks.
Many presidents had the communists.
Bush has the terrorists.

1) Shit stinks the same.
2) Sperm is white.
3) Blood is red.
4) When the fuck is good I no one cares if it's a caucasion or african cock.
5) A clean pussy is a joy to lick regardless if it is Asian or Islamic.

What you call racism is what happens when a group of people or race is stupid for a longer period in time, and the rest of stop using the excuse "different countries - different customs" and start demanding them to show respect

20 years ago racism was because of peoples under-informed opinion, today its bases on facts and actions documented by media. Racism is the people saying "I have been tolerant for to long now - now its time for people to show some respect back"

People hate Muslims: because they are the breeding ground of extremism as a result of the Koran that is a religion based on Absolutism's (just Like Bush's "either with us or against us")

People hate Africans because we keep helping them, but they still - 20 years later - cant run their own fucking country's without killing each other (I spend time in Zimbabwe and south africa .. I have seen it with my own eyes)

We're force fed hate in heaping doses on a daily basis. If a white man kills a white kid then it makes page 6 right next to "Local boy wins free ice cream for selling the most candy bars". If a black man accidently injures a white kid then it's headlines on CNN, Fox, MSNBC, NYTimes, etc, etc....

Look what we just witnesses here in the great state of Florida. White school teacher mows down and kills 2 black kids. She runs from the scene and her father helps her clean the blood off of her bumper. 2 days later she turns herself in. She received house arrest and community service hours. No jail time what-so-ever. :disgust

Same state of Florida. A black hard working Haitian immigrant is driving a semi-tractor down the road. The tire blows out and his truck rolls. He loses control and it falls on top of a mini-van killing 2 white women. He is not drunk or under the influence of any narcotics. His driving and maintenance logs are all in order, it was a tire blow out that he could not control. He got 15 years in prison. :disgust

Even the 2 white women's families are petitioning the Florida government to release the man but they [the State Attorney] told them to "stop calling them and there was nothing they could do".

Discrimination is happening in the wide open by religious fundamentalist rebulicans here in the U.S. with the whole " BAN GAY MARRIAGE". States are ignoring thier crime problems and economic problems and instead are using the time to legislate gay marriage bans..........I still dont know i stick around here in this shithole, I guess im just waiting for the amercian system to work and finally put these jerks out. Too many people are quick to label someone racist based on that person's dislike of a certain race or colour due to their overwhelming experience with that particular group of people.

Take Toronto, for instance...one of the most diverse ethic melting pots in North America. I lived in Toronto throughout the 80s - and during that time I couldn't help but notice that every neighbourhood where caucasians moved away from - became basically slums (especially in the suburbs). In the 70s and early 80s much of Toronto's northeast end (Scarborough) was predominantly white caucasian population. By the end of the 80s, it was heavily dominated by blacks, east Indians and asians. And if you were to compare photos of the neighbourhoods alongside of crime statistics - you'd plainly see the vast differences over the course of just a few decades.

In opening the immigration doors - Canada has stopped being selective of who gets in. And as a result, we've ended up with far too many undesirables that come here from 3rd world shitholes and start insisting we change our customs, traditions and way of life to resemble the cesspools they sought to escape. They insisted they want their children to carry Khirpans to school (a religious ceremonial dagger to them...considered a weapon to us). They cried racism when we disallowed them to wear their turbans in a Canadian Legion - to the point where we were forced to relent or be labeled racists and bigots. They want street signs changed from English to reflect the languages of their old countries (despite the fact all of Canada is only legally considered bilingual - French & English). The daily examples go on and on...

We are witnessing a slow but determined erosion of our own time-honoured culture and heritage...one established by generations of our forefathers, the ones who worked hard (and died in defense of) to build this country in to what it is today. To protest against the erosion is to be labeled a racist, because nothing gets more media attention than labeling someone a racist.

I'm not a luddite - I'm tolerant of change...IF it is good. But changing something to reflect the same standards of a failed 3rd-world society is NOT good. I've had black, asian and east Indian friends and acquaintances over the years, and have heard the more intelligent ones among them echo the exact same sentiments. They must show respect in order to earn it - a concept many of them fail to grasp. Instead, they bully us with an attitude of entitlement...and then cry foul if we call them out on it.

And most depressingly, the moment they start crying...the media is more than happy to park a camera in front of them for the nightly news.

Perhaps it's time people stop asking what they can do for their country....and start asking what their country can do for them.

With regards to taxes, I think Bostonians had the right idea with the Tea Party protest.

We're taxed to the max these days...with comparatively little in return. Our leaders are crooks and scammers with no accountability. Meanwhile, our infrastructure is crumbling around our feet and the politicians play wasteful games with the revenues.

I'm starting to agree that perhaps times have changed to the point where government has to start doing for us instead of the other way around. Not free handouts and charity - but at least a fair and equitable return on our taxation investment.

When I lived in Toronto several years ago. I was really politically active and I had someone drag me to a "minority" rights meeting.

It turned out to be a meeting of a Canadian K.K.K. group and unlike most people I decided to listen to it and see what the hell they were about.

Surprisingly they have some pretty good babble and talk a hell of a good game. Had me willing to sign up for for a few minutes.

But in the end, if you spent any length of time thinking about what they said you can figure it out that it's just well thought out propoganda and a dichotomy of hatred.

What is amazing me the most is I'm seeing, reading and hearing the same crap come out of the mouths of so many people.

Par example:
One of the few things of the white supremist meeting I had attended that stuck out in my mind the most was when the meeting was over....
The man that gave the "enlistment speech" spoke to me.

He practically said word for word the above quote....
And in similar form and/or comments I hear "non-racist" people saying similar things.

It's fucking scary the way the world has turned.
