quarry was knocked dead cold... when he was on the ground his muscles were contracing and stiff so bad his fucking leg was still in the air. Unconcious style.

Rich Franklin had the fight won earlier. Knocked down Quarry and was ready to start smashing but stopped and looked at Mcarthy. Mcarthy did nothing, so hence Franklin had to fucking demolish him with that punch later. Classy move by Rich though. :thumbsup

On another note I forgot to mention to all you UFC fans. Dana announced last night that Ken Shamrock and Tito Ortiz are season threes coaches for the ultimate fighter and when they announced Tito was the second coach and he walked into the ring Ken got all in his face and had to be held back...I think it was a marketing tactic though...not sure, I know Tito in the past was showboating over the Shamrocks in the past UFC's.

Other announcements were that Frank Muir is coming back to challenge Arlovsky next year and BJ Penn was signed to the UFC to obviously challenge Matt Hughes...but ... BUT... St. Pierre may get the shot first at the title as he got down on his knees last night on the microphone and pleaded to have a shot at the title... things look good for this next set of fights and the season 3 of TUF

I saw that too, Rich did look up at Mccarthy and stopped pounding Nate for a sec...it was a classy move. He looked like he knew that Nate was no where near ready for his calibur.

Does anyone else think Rich Franklin looks like Jim Carrey other than me? LOL :winkwink:

Season 3 of TUF is gonna be crazy. Penn and GSP should fight next for the number 1 contender spot, winner to face Hughes.

Hughes has untapped skill with submissions. A Kimura from half guard is a hard move to pull off. He calls it his "Bread and Butter".

This is why his nickname is "Ace" from Ace Ventura.

i thought he should have gotten a 29-28 decision and i told him so after the fight but robbed is a tad strong. in pride horn would have certainly won a decision. the lesson, as always, don't allow your fate to be decided by judges.
