I think Hefner respect the webmasters for their work and would go a long way to give them what they want(he have actually already proven that a few times by now). But I dont think he would like to be caught dead at a party with fat pale white webmasters. On the other hand I would never attend a party like that myself, because I would be so out of place, I would look like a complete moron

I was talking to some of the girls in the restroom, and they had no idea who we were. They just showed up to party at the mansion. These are girls with an open invite to drop by any party he has and just enjoy themselves. They were not hired as far as I knew. We were lucky to have them there.

It seems like basically they used the building and could say it was a playboy mansion party.Basically a nice theme but not much more without the real people who we all see in the playboy party section of the mag arent there.

It just seemed to me that when a party at the mansion is an "Invite-Select Few-Only" marketed party, you'd be surrounded by Playmates and graced with the attendance of Hef and other celebrities but that wasn't the case. People in attendance that a webmaster attendee wouldn't normally have access to in other circumstances kinda thing...

It had a real shot of being THE webmaster event of the year but it sounds like it was just like any other party I've attended in the past (and unfulfilled potential drives me nuts)!
