This is fucking cool!!!
 

I just found out that my neighbor does rescues for a local zoo and when I got home from work tonight she was yelling for me to come over. I put down my stuff and head over there thinking that something was wrong. I go inside and she has a pet Lion!!! She is nursing it until it gets old enough to be put into a habitat or zoo. It's only 4 months old and the cutest thing you could ever imagine! I was petting its stomach and it was making some wicked "roars". It's paws were HUGE compared to its body!

It was late when I got home so I didn't want to intrude and ask if I could come back over with my digital camera. However, she said that she would have him out in the pasture tomorrow so I'll be sure to take some pics and post them! That thing is cute as a button!!! :thumbsup

I asked her if I could come over today and take some pictures with it but she said that it was sedated all day because of a procedure it had done (something with the spine).

She did promise me that I would be able to take some pictures tomorrow. :thumbsup
