ahhhhhh, so good.

Spunky 11-18-2005 07:22 PM

What is Lactic?

After Shock Media 11-18-2005 07:23 PM

Yes what is this, where can I try some. I like trying new soda's.

Sly 11-18-2005 07:26 PM

I don't think Fanta is as big in the States as it is Australia. And the commercials are annoying as hell.

After Shock Media 11-18-2005 07:27 PM

I did see the dancing fanta chicks on tv a few times come to think of it.

quantum-x 11-18-2005 07:36 PM

Fanta lactic is sold in HongKong and Taiwan..
It comes in two flavours, plain lactic and white grape lactic.

It's very softly carbonated (unlike burn your throat out coke), has a thickner in it, so it's slightly 'thicker' than normal softdrinks, and has a super-uber-good slightly sweet, slightly milky taste to it.

Very hard to describe.. I lived on it while i was in hongkong, and managed to find a shop deeep in the asian suburb here that sold it.

Try get some ;)

mrthumbs 11-18-2005 07:40 PM

Lactic sounds nasty

Is that sars in a bottle?

woj 11-18-2005 07:53 PM

looks refreshing...

candyflip 11-18-2005 07:57 PM

Manzana Lift - Apple Soda, from Central and South America is the best.

This one is from either Pepsi or Coke. They both market one, so I'm guessing it's a popular cultural flavor.

sniperwolf 11-18-2005 08:44 PM

hmm..a grape flavor as softdrink.. I'm not really into that.. i never liked the taste of fruits with bicarbs..... oh yeah except for Royal

Oberon 11-18-2005 08:59 PM

Ugh. Carbonated fruit juice, all the taste, no sugar added.

Switch beverage co.

hottoddy 11-18-2005 09:07 PM

It's a toss up between these:

Better than lactic acid anyway . . .

GUNNER 11-18-2005 10:00 PM

not much of a soda drinker, but I'll see if I can find it in Chicago at my favorite Asian food store.

They're making it again :)

The wife and I have been buying it lately from a local convenience store. All the same old flavours, too. Had a black cherry just a few weeks ago.

Vitasoy 11-19-2005 04:57 AM

All these drinks I never had :(

gangbangjoe 11-19-2005 04:59 AM

dready 11-19-2005 08:47 AM

Orangina is pretty good.

nebula 11-19-2005 09:01 AM

Lactic as in milk? How does that work?

I'm intrigued, but white grape milk sounds awful.

Violetta 11-19-2005 09:38 AM

made me thirsty!

ElConquistador 11-19-2005 09:40 AM

DR. PEPPER all the way

warlock5 11-19-2005 10:58 AM

One thing I've noticed, soda from the states is all made with corn syrup as opposed to sugar -- bigger difference than you think. Fuck corn syrup and all the american farmers and their bottom feeding government subsidies.

Seems like they're almost European made commercials.

They use high fructose corn syrup because it is cheaper than caine sugar or beat sugar. Though the original Dr Pepper plant in Texas (has mail order) still uses caine sugar as does a few small soda companies.
