Saw it last night before Harry Potter..
I've been keeping up with the new movie but heard several people around me wondering WTF?
Hoping Bryan Singer pulls it off.

Fucking bullshit. 6 Billion people in this world, and no one can think of an original idea for a fucking movie anymore.

There's no possible way that this could even come close to the original. When I saw those movies as a kid, there was just something, for lack of better term (call me a faggot if you want) "magical" about them.

You're right. Superman is the only superhero I enjoyed and I still remember the theme music to the original. It was definitely magical seeing it as a kid, no remake has come close.

One of my first memories was seeing Superman in the movies holding my baby sister on my lap.

I couldn't have been much more than 2 1/2 at the time.

ABout the clip... Gave me goosebumps immediatly. I was a HUGE superman fan when I was a kid. This is awesome!!!

Gotta admit, when he flies back down to earth at the end of the clip, it's pretty cool that they put the sonic boom in there.

Any Superman fan will eat this up. This is great.

Batman was awesome. If they can capture at least a little bit of that feel Superman will be just fine

I agree that for Superman & Superman II were magical. But I wouldn't call that one as the smack in the face when there is a movie like Superman 4 Quest for Peace exists... :helpme

And I think they're already heading the right direction by keeping the original theme & key features like Brando...

but they lack consistency.

Comics and motion picture have a different versions of who Superman is.

I am lookign forward to Kevin Spacey playing Lex Luthor. he's a very good actor.

The problem is now movie companies are run by marketing departments and they cost so much ,they dont want to take a chance. Its like broadway ,movies made into musicals its fucking crazy.

Brandon Routhe--muscular, good looking yet not so popular actor is playing the role of Clark Kent.
