What is the Order of Canada?

The Order is one of the highest awards you can get. Basically if you've been a good boy or girl or are super hot, you qualify.

I took a date to a Shania concert a few years ago. Our private corporate box along with unliited booze and food still didn't make her show good.

Great that you pointed that out. She's definitely someone deserving of the Order of Canada. She's set the benchmarks of how a good politician should do their job. Too bad there weren't more of her kind around.

Shania Twain is just some singer who made lots of money -- I really don't see why she deserves an award that's usually reserved for people who contribute to the betterment of our country. What -- besides jiggling her titties and carrying a tune -- has she actually achieved on behalf of our country?

They give this award to just about anyone and everyone now. It's not even prestigious anymore.

Well, they also mentioned about her charitable work. I'm sure she's given enough money - and there's value in that without ever being in the trenches.
