however, when you decimated that country without the go ahead of the rest of the world....you effectively declared war on the world...so now you owe the Iraqi people

And Germany had oil at the end of WWII? The reason you are rebuilding Iraq is because like Germany at the end of WWII you fear another monster could arise from the ashes. Oil has very little to do with it in my honest opinion.

The US Gave BILLIONS of dollars of aid to Japan just after the war, and they will do the same for a country ( Iraq ) that has the OIL that we need.

Just a quick FACT - those facts are not true - he used WMD (I assume your talking about the poison and chems) on people in Iraq that he was at war with - basically the same insurgents that are hitting us now with roadside bombs were working with Iran at the time in a war against Iraq - that FACT has just been embellished for PR purposes.
He wasnt trying to obtain WMD - he already had them - and the US knew exactly how much because we gave them to him in trade for oil rights - another FACT that has been manipulated to get good PR for a war - go back and read the reports from the UN where they state exactly how much WMD he had, the source (in most cases the US to use in the war against Iran) and what exactly was destroyed after the first Gulf war
