Humm....
Good luck with that. 85% of GFY does under 10K a month. |
hummm????
Any Q's I can answer for you Steve |
Ya want em processing $100K a mo. Minimum to qualify?
|
100K per week, month, year?
|
Yes we do. At risk of sounding like a compete ASS - our management and underwriters only want account they feel will be around for the long haul. You know how bankers think - the more money you make the better off we are.
Due to monitoring requirements by V/MC where we have to view each site on a regularly basis - taking ona bunch of websites who do small volume increases staff requirements on our side. We want larger volume accounts tokeep monitoring to a much lower level. The last opnening we had was for 5 @ $100K each and I had it filled in 48 hours. |
Apologies = $100K per month
|
Well HMS ya most likely wont find them here.
Like I said 85% of GFY's posters are doing less than 5K-10K a month and most of them are not even processing. However not all is lost. They might run around and spot/link this thread to someone that knows what they are doing. Good luck. |
Steve, I havent gotten much of an answer from a few different folks I have asked, so let me ask you. What are the parameters that VISA uses to determine if a transaction is qualified or nonqualified? We see the breakdown in our statements from HMS and in looking over the info the consumer provided, it looks very arbitrary as to what is Q and what is NQ.
|
Quote:
If your accountis classified as 5967 (High Risk - membership) Visa says they will NQ all transactions while MasterCard is not yet doing that. For non-5967 account there are many things that can cause a transaction to go NQ. examples: card type - govt / corp / foreign cards will usually go NQ some "rewards" cards will also fall into this category. If your batch is not closed for 48 hours all trasactions in the batch will downgrade. If you would like I would be happy to have someone on my end look at your statement and see what we can come up with. Steve |
2 left - thank you everyone for the quick response. 3 down 2 to go.
|
So your Visa rate isn't 3, its 4.75, basically.

Effectively that is correct. HMS still sets the rate at 3.00%, but because Visa chooses to penalize adult merchant more than MasterCard does (at least at this time) Visa requires that we classify all their transactions as downgraded to NON Qual. That is why I disclose the downgrade in advance so merchants are aware. I do not want merchants, adult or otherwise, to have surprises after the fact. Steve |

Hey there folks - thanks again for the quick responses. Our underwriters did decline 2 account for excessive CB's and a few other "issues". This means I have 2 slots open if anyone is still looking for a direct merchant account. Pricing and requirements listed in original post.
Thanks Steve HMS |
