Is there such thing as fast support from an online host?
It seems like 28 hours to wait for a minor thing to be fixed on a managed host is the norm.
I just recently switched to webair and I cant say the support is any better from the host I had before... which is one of the reasons I switched to a different host. WTF is with customer support these days? :mad: |
here comes the spammmmmmmmmmmmm, but seriously there are a select few that are on the ball. Always be weary of GFY recommendations. I am hosted were some very large programs are hosted. :2 cents:

webair has always sucked for support...when I used them in the past, if and when I got someone, they were so underqualified, i am suprised they knew how to use the phone
most of the hosts I have used are horrible with support also nakedhosting.com was always great now I have my own server with theplanet, and i use www.servergenius.com for my support...he is rockin....$55 a month for unlimited server admin and monitoring, you can't beat it |

I always thought webair was on top of things because I got the impression they are a huge company and I never heard any bad talk about them on GFY. They did give me a good price, but if the support is not there then I am losing money and I would rather pay the extra bucks to have support.
My pop3 mail is still not working after 2 weeks when they say it works fine.... I am able to send out but not receive... I thought it would be something so simple. Maybe I ask for too much... |
Well you know, you get what you pay for ... go with natnet and you'll get the support...

National Net gets tickets answered in about 5 minutes day or night. Plus they have a real tech answering the phone 24/7 (none of that call back BS).
Phatservers, while not as quick as National Net has been very on top of things. I'd recommend either of those two. |
Reflected answers my tickets in 5 mins or less. Any time of the day.

i only have a small virtual account with cyberwurx (bought it at a then-ridiculous price in the late 90s and have kept a few sites there for the different class C blocks) - and it seems that the few times i've submitted a ticket, they've been on it within five minutes every time, even late at night :)

I get super fast support from my host.
But I doubt you could afford them.. You get what you pay for. And I host with the best.. I shouldnt even have to tell you where I host, but I will. Its Jupiter Hosting. Same place This place GFY is hosted. Playboy and BP4L Approved.. |

National Net usually takes about 30 seconds to get in touch with support. If the phone rings too many times, Sweet T answers it himself ;)

God I love TechieMedia. When I have a problem I get it fixed and as fast as possible. I've never had any trouble with them at all. <3 Jim and the gang.

Isprime makes hosting inconveniances and annoying concerns a thing of the past. Everyone here works hard and grows with our clients. Ask around and see for yourself.
