Palm Pilot or Pocket PC?
 

My Palm VII is getting old and I'm thinking about picking up a new PDA. But I'm torn between a Palm or Pocket PC. I have to say I'm probably leaning more towards a Pocket PC since their color screens look great and some can actually play video. Video isn't actually on my list of needs but hell if a PDA can do it, and do it reasonably well then that's just another point for it.

Palm seems to have been resting on their laurels in developing better models and other companies such as Sony and HandjobSpring are have some great 'Palms' out. I like the slim sizes versus giants like the Compaq iPaq.


Hey, what the heck happened to e-mail notification for new messages???

I also have a Palm VII, but I never use the thing now... I switched to using a 2-way pager and a cell phone.

What do you use your Palm for now?

There both dust collecters, and both really suck if your not going to use it on a daily basis..

Actually, the Palm was good for killing time in airports, on airplanes and stuff, but I've also got a laptop for that, and I only fly 2-3 times a year now. I'd sell mine if it was worth the hassle.
