Blogging in order?

I'm confused. I'm trying to write this blog. So, I make a post, then a 2nd post & now the second post is on top. how do I make it so it is in chronological order? I want the posts to be read in chronological order. like a story. I dont want the end to be at the front, that'll be backwards?

I had to search the forums for a while and then found it. Or it maybe just started posting in the order I wanted. Damn I can not remember for sure though what I did :-(

spacedog - you may wish to rethink this. If oldest is first, you are making readers scroll thru pages and pages of stuff they have already read to get to the new stuff.

Also, you want your page to have fresh, new content for the SE spiders.

There is a method to the madness.

I second that, the new posts are for ping purposes, and for your return viewers to easly find the new posts.

Umm, I think having it backwards would not be such a great idea.....

The recent blog posts will always be on top and that order, I guess will not be changed.

baddog, you have a valid point. So, if it is intended to be read in chronological order, what should I do, title the posts as chapters? hmm.. yes, that's it, chapters :)

Notice how I did it here.

That is how I would suggest doing it/

If you are using SE friendly permalinks, Chapter 1, 2, 3 is not really taking advantage of them. Chapter names (blog entries) should have keywords in them :2 cents:
