My Site has been hacked
 

My site has also been hacked as I saw in another thread.Forum It's running Phpbb which I believe is not very secure. If you run a forum, I would check they didn't get you too..

If anyone can provide me with any info I would appreciate it. I notice when I open the page it disapears bottom right..

Had one of my sites forums get hacked a few weeks ago as well. PhPbb is about as secure as a piece of swiss cheese in a rat cage. I'll never use it again.

You have a old version of the forum. You must stay updated to keep secure. Its just like anything else. They will find exploits eventually. They are probably using sql injection on you. The newest version is phpBB 2.0.18 You were running 2.0.9. No need to tear down a great piece of FREE software just because you didnt update to stay secure. Xp does the same thing. How many security updates do they do and they are a multibillion dollar software charging for xp. Dont get me wrong, I love windows and am a windows guy, but no one can foresee every little possible security hole before hand.

phpbb SUCKS, installed it and deleted within the same hour after nothing HUGE openings in the code that can be cracked by a highschooler, id rather pay for Vbulletin then use free shit now

When? Its pretty secure atm. Ive been running it on various sites for about 3 years or more now. Never been hacked, never had a problem. I simply patch the holes as they find them.
