You cant really. What you do for yahoo changes google, and vice versa. Concentrate one just 1.

Yeah, I was doing really well in Yahoo!, page one out of 53,000,000 or so.. anyway I decided I wanted a better Google presence so I did what I thought was optimizing.. the result is I now get 0 results from Google and 1/4 what I was getting from Yahoo!

They are 2 different sites ... certainly possible, but this should take a lot of hard work ;)

Answers 1 & 2:
You can create a page specific to each engine and use cloaking to get the desired version indexed and listed by each

Alternatively, you can just make 2 different versions (e.g. 2 domains) and optimize, link them seperately

You can also just forget Yahoo altogether and get 10x the hits from Google for the same ranking (give or take a few x's) :)

Just keep one thing in mind. TONS AND TONS of SE traffic from google may not be as good as a FEW better targeted hist from yahoo. If the targeting is not there, then it is a waste of time.

You could just make two different sites with different domain names and then create links to them that will draw surfers from each site to the other. Optimize one for google and one for yahoo
