inbetween long term serious relationships - how many people do you think someone should fuck around with before getting into the next one?

i think a lot. scares me to hope right into one relationship from another.

I don't exactly hop, hon, but because I'm allergic to latex and because I'm generally pretty well jaded about sex, I don't fuck around. Just not my thing. :(

that's a very juvenile perspective / question...

it's all about who you meet which determines the correct course of action. if you aren't braindead like most of people you can usually tell within the first date or so if she's a keeper or not.

if you just get out of a relationship and end up finding one worth keeping soon after, you don't fuck her n' forget about her simply for the sake of "not getting too serious too soon"

good women are hard to find, especially in this day n' age... don't pass em' up based on some bullshit structered idealogy.

The whole idea of having to fuck a certain number of women before you should get into another relationship is a bit odd, imo. Relationships should happen because of the person, not because of the timing.

Why should it be a number ? It will be when you feal right about it ... that's it. That can take days, months or years...

You shouldn't "hop on the next thing that comes along", of course. You shouldn't ever "hop on something" just because it comes along, though. Not for a good relationship anyway.

Someone being attractive, available and good company is not enough to start an actual relationship. There needs to be more than that. Likewise, bad timing is not enough to *not* start a relationship if there *is* that something more.

You never know when the next women (love/lust) will hit you. Could be 2-3 years could be 2-3 months after a relationship IMHO. I have experience both and both where unexpected.

I haven't been between relationships for 17 years.

I tend to fall off the deep end and fuck a LOT of girls, though I prefer whores when I'm in this destructive stage. Since I travel a lot to cheap countries it's nothing to tear through 1 or more a day depending on my mood.

i discovered something. it's easier to find a relationship when you're not looking for one. no expectations, less nervousness - no one feels they have to impress anyone. and also not looking keeps you from looking in clubs and bars - the places where it's easiest to find an alcoholic.

there are a lot of great people out there who make lousy first dates - i'm marrying one of them. apparently he's a legendary bad first date, but we were in a band before we hooked up, so we got to know each other without the "is this the one?" crap and even without "are we going to end up fucking?" coming into it at first.
