4x4/AWD truck/SUV good on gas under $20k

I'm looking for a winter truck that can fit 3 dogs. Any suggestions on something under $20k that can get around 20MPG?

mid sized trucks, SUV's, etc.

Good luck with the MPG

yea I was just checking that out.. might be time for a trade in :winkwink:

one thing I noticed is the 05 v6 is 245hp and the 06 is only 236HP with almost the same gas mileage.. pretty lame..

not sure. how big are your dogs?

Mrs. Lenny2 11-13-2005 11:31 AM

I know that a lot of people hate the way the Honda Element looks but they're extremely roomy inside and the MSRP for the 4WD LX is $19,150. They're very durable...rubber floors, water resistent seats, etc...and the back seats fold up or come completely out.

I have the 2WD EX model, which gets 17 mpg city and 23 mpg highway.

Try looking at the Chevy Trailblazer EXT Version. Good MPG and new they were only 23K. Lots of room as well.

For that price, my guess is that you will have to go for a used one.

I took a look at one...didn't like the interior that much. Jeeps I did, though.

I'm looking for something used, yes. It's just something that I'll need for the winter.
