unfucking believable!! wife's driving me crazy with christmas shit.
 

it's not even thanksgiving yet & she's friggen decoration & putting up lights & shit as if there isn't enough electrical hazzards in this place :1orglaugh
Now she wants me to go buy more extension cords & power strips.
Friggen computer takes up 7 outlets in one strip into wall outlet & the wall socket above that's got another strip with tv, ps2, dvd, and a lamp
I'm not even going to get into the other rooms :1orglaugh
but damn, hate all these friggen christmas lights up so early.

At least you guys aren't the type that leaves the lights and wreaths up all year long.

I've seen people with their outside lights up and on already. It blows my mind. Nothing goes up in my house before Dec 1 and we don't even have Thanksgiving between now and Christmas here (Canada).

Tha christmas catalogues started arriving the day after Halloween here - my kids are going mental.

Mine started on me before halloween

:1orglaugh yeah, that reminds me, Halloween decorations. I notice that halloween has become sort of like christmas decoration wise. Halloween trees?? WTF!! orange & purple christmas lights for halloween. Pumpkin lights instead of snowmen, etc. Seems pretty fucked up, I think this just started within the last 4 years.

I remember in alot of stores, day after halloween all the christmas decorations were up on the shelf.

So true. I have a friend who owns 5 Hallmark stores and as soon as the stores close on Halloween they do their turn over for Christmas. It's a huge market.

Better early than late. Christmas is a lot better if it lasts a while...
