Adult Flash Game -Strip Poker
 

I want to make an adult Flash game of Strip Poker.
I am testing the market so I was wondering if anione would be interested in buying such a game.
How much would you pay for a well designed, interesting flash game like this, that could be customized for each client to fit the design of their site, that could be personalized?
If you would like such a game, what features would you like the game to include?

not sure what its worth, but i know there are games out there. id be willing to buy it if i could choose the content, etc.

Well it would be customizable, the content would load from a external folder.
There would be a folder containing pics that could be changed, and the pics would dinamicly load into the game.

So everyone could use his own pics!

What wolud be an estimate price you would pay?

But I might be interested if the price is right :o)

One thing that is being done by a diffrent company is hosting a free version with a banner rotater built in. Then you can offer the real banner free one (which you can add your own pics) for sale.

You could also put a link to the sales page on the free version :o)

Xamo makes a version of strip poker. I highly recomend you take a look at it for it set the industry standard. Here you will see it takes more than just some flash technique to whip out a game.

Currently Xamo has two graphics artists on hand full time, two game programers, a sales department and a accounting devsion.

How does that apply to you? YOU need a game plan.

To make a single game would be a waste of your time. Even though Strip poker is our most popular game.

How do you plan to market your game?

Right now we have a 5 game pack that goes for $99.95 a month.

I'm not sure what you could charge for a single game. $25 a month is hardly worth your time.

The features you need to include are a high score system, a game play tracking system and prizes for top scores.

Did you plan in using stills or video? Stills need to updated monthy.
How do you plan to gather you content.

Do you plan on hosting the games?

What's niche is your game going to be? Niches are what sell Cater to those people and you will have more luck

Well I'm a single programer and designer. You don't need to worrie about me!

As far as I know, seting the industry standard doesn't mean that someone else can't make another type of game. I will make a orriginal one!


And yes I do have a plan, and i have thought a lot about this! Don't underestimate my marketing skills!


I'm not trying to get rich, I'm trying to build a business here, and I do not have any ilusions concerning what I will do! I'm just going to prouve my programing and design skills by making something that will make me some $$$:) And who sad that I want to make only one game? This is only the begining!

First of all you don't know what my time is worth!
I'm not going to charge 25$/month. I sad that before I saw some of the prices on the Internet.
I'm going to charge more, but I have some special features in mind that will make the clients like me!

The actionscript is allready done and it works like a charm. :)
I am a programer and I know what I'm doing! This things may sound like something complicated, but Flash is a powerfull toll in the hands of those who master it.


I will use only stills. Flash does not support video streaming at this moment.
This is the good part!
The movies are maintained by the site's owner, I don't host them' nor take care of them. The owner will only pay once, so on the long term he will pay less.
The movie will be customizable by the site's ovner! He will chouse what pics to display! I will only have to buy one set of pics, and the site oner will be able to change them easily!

I think it's worth doing the game, the idea is pretty good

I must disagree about one thing though. We have created a method to convert movie files into flash files.

Take a look at a small, short example of "video" inside of some of our games content. Below is a link to one of our games that uses short video clips. As the player increases up the levels the clips are longer and more explicit. 5 Clips per game in all. Also, the freebie clip is very short, and just a teaser. :)

You need to get up the levels youself to see the good stuff. :)
