Is a trial the right way to go??
 

Ok, I just put up a 3.95 for 3 day trial. Yes, I have recieved a good # of sign ups today after my show but I do NOT want people signing up downloading all my stuff and leaving.

My Question: Do you advise a trial for a solo girl site. I am very accessable but what is the usual on people signing up for sites. Should I just keep on the 19.95 per month track or is it feasable to do a trial?

I'd say it would be feasible as long as you have something that will keep them coming back. Webcam shows, frequent updates, maybe even "coming soon" teasers for galleries. Surfer sees what they'll miss after their trial and convert to a full.

Try it for a few weeks and see what % of those trials convert to monthly. Your members should retain well because of the high number of cam shows you do. Keep interacting with your members and those trials are going to want to stick around to catch all your live shows. If you feel like people are starting to take advantage of the trials you can always go back.

Trials suck. One of these days I will take the time to remove them from my sites.

i do pretty good with trials..they will usually end up as rebills...i say 60-70% of the time for me.

We moved to a $3.99 3 day trial 1 year ago and it made a massive difference to our $$$ We do have plenty of amateur extreme content that helps us get around a 40% rollover to full membership. :winkwink:

Bottom line is if your content is unique etc, a trial works great..

I don't like trials as an affiiate. Unless you still pay out a nice price to affiliates on trial sales.

If you going for the big money, webcamshows is not what you should base your sales on, but affiliates.

if you gonna recruite affiliates soon, you can offer trial and full price links, so they use whats fits their traffic.

you can also go with full price only and a trial popup if the surfer dont signup and leaves :)

Trial's great for a single girl site if the girl is interacting with the customers on a daily basis. ;)
