now I'm thinking of doing a small project here with my designers... what blog templates do you need? (theme/examples), do you use wordpress? How much are you going to pay?

I would pay well I think most people would if they are wordpress themes and valid XHTML. Oh and three columns is a must! :thumbsup

yeah, that's a decent design.. as the guy above said, any templater should be able to whip that up in under an hour.. shouldn't cost you more than $50...

I have yet to see a real wordpress template here and not just a hacked up HTML comp with some wordpress features in it.

Why the mystery? Just state a fucking price already - if you get customers it isn't too high. I can flip over a rock and find someone to design galleries or sites, but it's a pain in the ass to find more than on guy who can make me a WordPress theme.

$50 for a WP theme should be a decent starting point - as competition shows up, you'll have to drop it. But I know if the quality is there, I'm buying. 10+

Wow - 50 to 100. That sounds like a lot (says the girl who's always complaining that writers are underpaid). I'd love to see some BDSM templates - the only ones out there are those partial templates that you have tweak. I'd love one that I can just slid in with a great BDSM graphic but I couldn't pay more than $20.

The nice thing about blog templates - especially if you focus on one type of blog software - is that once you have figured out how the script works (which isn't all that difficult) and put together one template, it is really quick and easy to produce quite different looking variations on that.

Even so, $20 isn't going to buy you a very much these days...

Most templates go for about 50$.

Im always down for good mainstream blog designs. Im good for $50 to $100 each depending on how many columns and how good the design is. This is not an offer--just answering your question :thumbsup
