Anyone had experience setting up a Filipino etc shop?
I expect the government has a trade organisation that helps a transition offshore for local businesses, Or businesses that specialise in setting other businesses up in these locations but outside of that, how much of the third world graft etc issues you hear about do you really have to deal with for a mainstream biz set up with 10-20 workers? Obviously you need someone you can trust over there running it for you.. but I'm wondering what sort of establishment cost you're up for with leased computer equipment and office space + legal issues + hiring.. how many local businesses are you expected to use? Not that GFY is the place to talk biz.. but ticking a few things over not wanting to set up an outsource company like some other guys.. just internal stuff to run through some service heavy mainstream projects.....

Dee, Rick, $5, any of you guys around for some advice?

I'm not sure about setting one up however the companies I've worked with over there have always worked out good for me.

Yeah I'm sure it's cool.. I'm not looking to set something up to have a studio to outsource stuff to other companies like $5.. too much effort and fucking around.. it's more like when Rick wanted to do that cartoon porn stuff so he set something up there for his internal stuff because it needed a bunch of guys. (at least thats what I gathered from gfy.) |
bump for you.
