    anyone tried absinth...

    ...and did you hallucinate?
    i had a couple of shots of absinth last weekend plus loads of other booze, but i was just pretty drunk... no hallucinations at all.
    They say you could get em if u drink it though. Anyone ever experienced this?

              Hmm theres a topic about this every week on gfy.

              You wont hallucinate from Absinthe. Its not like it used to be 1 or 2 centuries ago.

              The only thing that will happen is that you get totally drunk because of the high alcohol %.

                                      Absinthe is a myth. There is no Absinthe on the planet with enough wormwood extract to give an effect. You would have to drink like 30 bottles of the best stuff to get anything. Anyone who says it did something was too shit faced drunk to really be objective.

                                              I have some Absinthe here. Its the legal version I ordered from over-seas, what makes this legal is the fact it contains the SOUTHERN wormwood in it instead of the regular wormwood that causes u those hallucinations. This Absinthe here gives a different kind of intox, but no hallucinations, it makes u feel really relaxed. Absinthe tastes/smells like licorice.

                                                                                      Try some 32% thujone - you can get it on the net and sorta legal to be shipped to the US (depends on who you ask and the real ppm of thujone compared to the % alcohol) - although customs "could" take it but the buyer is not legally at risk according to the import laws - just the seller. I dont know if the guy prepared it right but what ever he did, i was drunk, relaxed, and not full on seeing stuff, but things did look a lil different. I would definitly do it again, hallucinations or not. The guy had it imported, so it was not the stuff you can buy in the U.S. He also got 2 bottles shipped different ways because customs might take em if the found them, so im assumeing they were good stuff. just my 2 cents..

Why don't you try one that contains 100, and see the difference..I've had absinthe like 8 times and I only once saw trippy shit which was my first time, which contained 100 mg of thujone. The rest I just got really drunk and did crazy shit.. There are a lot of absinthe websites, but the one with the most variety of absinthe is BuyAbsinthe.com.. I love this drink..And if you guys want to try something new, I call it Dave's Death Mix Extravaganza..Everclear+Absinthe+Red Bull=Death

                                                                                                                                                  the term green fairy was coined by Alistair Crowley in a poem of the same name that he wrote about Absinthe... it is metaphorical, "chasing the green fairy" is a play on the the term "chasing the dragon" which is a reference to smoking opium; which was at that time the drug of choice for poets and artists
