A friend of mine is wanting to move to GoDaddy. Please post all your worst stories about how fucked up GoDaddy is so I can show him that I'm not the only one that thinks they suck.

So in your best GoFuckYourself.com voice... stand up and be heard. Why does GoDaddy.com suck?

I thought they screwed me over once but it turned out to be my fault. My contact information was out of date, they couldn't get in touch with me so they dropped my domain.

I will say that though I got it back through them, it was expensive and the staff were unhelpful to the point of rudeness at times.

ive used godaddy for a while now... no problems there manno....

theres one big issue

if they get spam complaints bout your domain, EVEN if its smurfed email, theyll shut it down faster then you can say err what

I remember a while back people posting about how much they hate go daddy. And now I have a headless homo and a furious one telling me they are good?

This just goes to prove that you people are sheep. One day you all love a program, the next day you all slam it. One day you all hate godaddy and the next day you all love it.

I'm starting to get nervous the more domains I have with godaddy. It would cost me a fucking fortune to switch all of them over to someone else even though I wish I could

I've heard some horror stories about them as well, shutting down domains just because of complaints and stuff, never had a problem with them my self

I just haven't had a problem with them. Nor did I bash them in the old threads. Every situation is unique.

Just like Paypal and Click Cash I guess.
