EPASSPORTE: Don't panic!

I'm not saying ePassporte is unstable; just the opposite. I think the fact that every time there's a hiccup ten people panic and start threads on GFY is damaging public confidence, which in turn can damage their business, which eventually will lead to budget cuts and poorer service.
I suggest (and I wouldn't presume to call it advice, just a suggestion) that the next time you see a problem with your account just wait 8 hours or so before you worry, contact ePassporte customer support privately if your need is urgent, and if you MUST talk about it on the board, check for an existing thread about the problem before you start another one.
This might be a good idea if your sponsor is down for a few minutes/ hours too. Don't shoot the hand that feeds you in the foot.

wait 8 hours? :1orglaugh Now thats quality, you're gonna have people waiting for days with that attitude. They really should thank the adult industry wholeheartedly as thats the only thing keeping them afloat. They have SERIOUS ISSUES. Multiple paypal accounts is the only way to swing. I have yet to meet anyone outside of adult with an epass account. Oh and those load fees :1orglaugh

Why would you shoot someone in the hand that feeds you in your foot?

Sometimes that's the way the cookie bounces.

Well said Dagwolf.

If they are doing upgrades like it seemed to be, it won't do any good if 20 threads on the same topic are started.

But it's a two way street, since people have pushed the panic button before on GFY, the fine folks at epassporte know that it will happen again. Purely as a matter of public relations, I would suggest that they perhaps make a thread explaining the situation previous to the scheduled downtime and ASAP for unforseen circumstances.

Good question. What's the point of feeding you in the foot, unless you've got a mouth in your foot?
Then you could bite the hand that feeds you - with your foot :1orglaugh

If they actually are doing upgrades they should have a message inside letting people know that there will be downtime on x day from x to x time. This way no one will panic.

Yes, they should have that. But they should start a thread here as well because tons of people will just whine about "having missed it".
