Why Was Howard Deans "yahoo" made into such a big deal? I know it was kinda childish but it doesn't seem like it should have cost him the election.
Do you think he would have had a real chance if that hadn't happened?

Howard Dean is a radical, moderates will never support a radical. I think its more the way he talked and acted than just the scream itself lol. He talked about revolutions and such.

Something the media picked on untill it killed any chance he had to ever make it.

It wasn't a big deal, he only sounded like a redneck, Bush sounds, act and actually is an idiot.

To speak of a revolution in the us will not help the chances of ANY one getting elected.

What's interesting, is to the people that were actually there, it wasn't the same. The microphone wasn't picking up the crowd noise, which he was shouting over in order to be heard. Everyone in the crowd was hollering and cheering.
But the mic was just picking up his voice, so when it got on the news, it made him look silly, and after thousands of replays, he was done in.

too bad :( although its a kind of an old topic.... ive heard the same thing about the crowd not being able to hear him through the sound system

however, he seems to be proving himself as the head of the DNC :)
