New(ish) to the game - Blogs?
 

Hi

I am kind of new to this whole adult webmaster thing. I started a while back with AVS sites and then stopped for a bit, then got back into it recently.

I am making some money, but not as much as I want to be making.

I was just wondering what works best for you?

I was thinking about starting a blog, but don't really know much about where to get traffic from and all that stuff. Like I said, I have only really done AVS sites.

I am interested in creating a blog site, though. So any tips (like where I would get some blog software from) would be greatly appreciated.

I would also like to let you konw what I have tried so far.

I have a bunch of different AVS sites that all link to sponsors, of course, and I make some money from that. I have also linked to a main site of mine controlled by one AVS company, hoping that I could send all the other AVS traffic (from different AVS sponsors) to my main site and hopefully the users would join. Unfortunately I haven't made any money off of this. No one seems to be interested in joining my AVS site.

Either way, I am kind of sick of classic AVS galleries and am looking for something different. Do you think a blog controlled by AVS would be a good idea?

Also, I am open to pretty much any money making opportunity, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. How well do TGP galleries convert?

If you're interested in alternate ways to make money, then check out the link in my signature line. We recently launched an adult ad network that pays webmasters for each REAL impression. So you sign up with us and place our ad tags on your page, and then focus on getting traffic. We already have advertisers who want to advertise on adult sites, and they pay per thousand impressions shown (called CPM), instead of pay per sale/action (CPA). We then split the revenue with you.

I'm not sure what you mean about a blog controled by avs.
Anyway I don't have any blog, I may start 1 soon but not yet :)

Advertising (ppc, textlink, banner rotation)
Search engine optimisation
Expired domain
Gallery submission
Free site submission
Tgp with feeder traffic and shitload of trades

There is probly a lot more :)
