he just needs to keep his loud mouth shut and let his agent do the talking. but hes obviously not smart enough to do that. i say bench his ass for the rest of the season and mark it up as time/money lost.

Yup but like I said if his game slips (he's almost 32) and he becomes an average reciever he's done. So he has a few more years to show he's a team player. In addition no one is going to give him a signing bonus knowning that he's a loose cannon. If teams are smart they'll make his contract largely performanced based.

Drew Rosenhaus is one of the best agents out there. He represents 100s of players. How the hell do you defend a guy who alienates all his fans, by being the worst teammate ever. TO is a selfish prick, even Rosenhaus can't help him. They tried to renegotiate in the offseason, that was fine. They got turned down, TO should've played his heart out and showed the Eagles why he deserves more money. Instead, he went off the deep end. They didn't expect the Eagles to respond like this, and they did. Trust me, Rosenhaus didn't write TO's statement up that Donovan isn't tough enough and they could use a guy like Brett Favre. TO digs himself into holes no one can dig him out of.

It will be tough for him to find work...Fuck, even the CFL doesn't want him. Both those guys are fucked, but TO has a serious "the world owes me" attitude and it's disgusting!

Al Davis should pick him up, Raiders always seem to pick these guys up

I don't think he ends up anywhere this year... unless he punts the agent. How many call do you think the Eagles are getting from other GM's / Owners, saying that it's about time, that's the way guys like that need to be handled, etc.

What it comes down to is this... he's a spoiled hot head. So what, he's a hell of a ball player, and there are tons of spoiled hot heads out there. The media however are just as much to blame as he is. Only when T.O. is involved could a baseball player picked up for murder, be trumped on the first page. He was goaded for the story... end of story.
