The band of the moment for me is
 

The Kaiser Chiefs. I resisted for so long since they were hyped a lot here but I gave the album a full listen a couple weeks ago and I am loving all of it. So 80's for those that think of the Cure style 80's when they get nostalgic. Fantastic music.

I'll take that as a recommendation and check it out myself. Thanks!

I just heard "I predict a Riot" at yahoo's music page; not bad at all.

Not even the best song on the album. I personally like 'Oh My God' which is SO 80's...Sister's of Mercey came to mind the first time I heard it. 'Every day I love you less and less' gets firmly stuck in my head everytime I hear it.

I am actually excited about the band and these days that doesn't happen to me.

They aren't as dark as the Cure but for the same sort of fan base, I think.

They are quality live. Quite into Bloc party at the moment myself.

Yeah Kaiser Chiefs arent bad....

is Interpol

Bloc Party, The Bravery, etc...are all good but I doubt the hype will last....

Can't wait for the new Strokes album though!...

but...interpol...damn they are so fucking good....I saw'em live last month...best show ever...

They have been overplayed on the radio over here, which has put me off again.

They are ok, but when one song comes out, i hear it so many times, i just get sick of it...

I'm into the whole European thing (club music). Anyone else like me? Contact me if you are I dj and have very good referals to other dj's. :)

I don't listen to music radio because the vast majority I can't stand so I didn't get the overplay other than stuff used on tv promos.
