MS Office 12 Pre-Release is off the hizzle fashizzle!
 

look out, the new MS Office 12 is awesome... totally new interface, menus are different.. for Word there's 'smart menus' that adapt to whatever you're doing etc... Even better yet, is im using a pre-release and it hasnt crashed yet!

Also if you like open source software that will run on any operating system, try Sun Microsystem's Open Office v 2.0 which was just released.

I've been using it lately, so far its working good and the best part is its "free".
