Now France has a SMALL taste of what Israel has to deal with

And in France, with all these riots, barely anyone is actually dying.

Imagine if the rioters in France actually started murdering innocent french people in buses and restaurants in each day.

France and Israel are NOTHING alike.

France accepted those immigrants in. The French where there first. In Israel, they tried to push the palestinians out.

I hope your stomach is really roomy because it seems that your head is pretty far up your arse.

Israelis did not push anyone out.

Tons of land changes hands/ownership in the 1900's. Everyone in the world moved on with their lives, except the stupid muslims outside of israel, who still whine about "stolen land".

Citizen Cain 11-08-2005 04:58 PM

It's funny that you arab pieces of shit own 99.9% of the middle east, yet tiny Israel is "stolen".

According to the CIA world factbook, (http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/...k/geos/is.html) Israel has declared it's independence on May 14th, 1948. Since this is very recent in history, I can't help but believe that some people, rightly or wrongly, at the time felt that their land was stolen. Whether this qualifies as "whining" is a debate which I will not get into here.

But to sum it up, Israel has been founded in a location where people where already present. That is consequently the cause of their problems today. In France however, it is quite the opposite because those people where invited in as immigrants.

That Sir is the reason why I disagree when you say that France has a small taste of what Israel has to deal with. You may stop rolling your eyes.

You're right and I see it coming from a mile away. But his whole theory is that France and Israel are having the same problem while they are worlds apart.

Splum 11-08-2005 05:56 PM

The land belongs to anyone who can take it - ie United States took this land from Indians - For historical purpose and your fucking education the Canaanites were the FIRST DOCUMENTED people to inhabit what is now Israel - The were defeated by the Israelites around 1000 BC.
http://www.answers.com/canaanite&r=67

So technically the arabs have no claim and Im not taking one side or another just pointing out the fact that if the arabs cant take it they shouldnt have it.

Took you some time to google it, huh..

Palestine was a territory. Most of it became Jordan. Some became Israel.

Arab countries made repeated wars on Israel and lost additional land in the process. Boo hoo.

France: muslims set cars on fire and destroy property and shoot at cops.

Nope.. nothing in common at all...

Judging by your comments, I can't help but believe that you're anti-Arab. If that's the case, you're biased and can't help you in this debate.

Babaganoosh 11-08-2005 06:02 PM

Israel doesn't have many French people.

Advantage: Israel

The only thing I see in common there is violence. Does that mean that the very same events in both countries lead to this violence?

You have more patience than I.

You are quite right, situation are not at all similar.

France was the Occupier of most North African muslim countries ( I just watched again lately " La guerre d"algerie" from director Gillo Pontecorvo).

For political reason, they hav eallowed relatively open immigration to France from these ex-colonies .. Now, they are facing the consequences... But, to my knowledge, land in France was always French land ( aside from the Roman occupation ).

So Citizen Cain analogy is irrelevant and worthless, as most of his posts...

This is why I just posted a picture of an idiot wearing an idiot hat, in answer to his stupid posty ( lawe of the less effort ) :2 cents:

This said, it doesn't mean that I support the attacks against Israelis civilians ... neither the ones against civilians palestinians.

Muslims blow up and terrorize innocent people in Israel.
Muslims also shoot cops, burn and destroy property in France..

How about this moron: muslims "stole" about 1/4 of planet earth from its previous owners.

To the arab/muslim mind, arabs/muslims should own literally 100% of the middle east.

Jews are not allowed to own more than 0%

Or else it's "stolen" :1orglaugh
