$1 per click on adword?

I just signed up so i dont know much.

I know if i bid higher than someone elce i will get the spot. Look at the image below, does that mean its $1 per click?

Not necessarily. For example if you bid $1 and nobody else competes with you, you get charged less.

What he said. Also, if the prior bid is a lower amount, the actual CPC rate is just a step over that.
