If i loved her I'd marry her, but like many of us it's very difficult to buck social norms and go against the grain and go for someone who is perhaps less desirable. Just curious... what would you do if you fell deeply in love with a skinny woman, who ended up with a medical condition (ie thyroid) that caused her to gain a lot of weight? This is the same person on the inside. Would you be shallow enough to dump her because her outward appearance changed?

im a fat chick and my man still loves me, but i also didnt gain 300 lbs lol more like 50 (but i lost 25 of that already, and still losing weight today).

relationships tend to make one another gain weight at some point. not on purpose, just happens. i just got too comfortable in my 6 yr relationship for a little bit. that part is over.

I married a fat women, but then again, my wife married a fat man as well, hahaha. Right after we got married we both got even fatter. But we have been losing tons of weight the last year and we both are 20-30 pounds less than when we first got together. She says she hasnt weighed this much since she was 14 and I havent weighed this much since I was 16, so we are doing pretty good.

So if she were unhealthy and thin, you'd get rid of her? Or is it OK if she's unhealthy but still looks good on the outside? :winkwink:

What is also funny is I am sitting here after getting back from the gym..which I do despite my weight and meanwhile a thread full of people where most can't remember when the last time they went to the gym are calling people like me lazy. I also love the less highly functioning. Just be glad I am fat then because I can't imagine at what level I - and many other smart fat women - would function at if we were thin.
