Weird Story Platinum Bucks?
 

Have a small issue I'd like to see settled.. this is how chargebacks are made and customer trust is lost for the entire adult community:

a female friend signed up for a site called http://www.hardcoresweethearts.com on the 31st of October. She was charged for a trial and given user/pass, everything great, but no email confirmation. No comes the hard part, she wants to cancel...

So she visits http://www.billingsupport.com/ via a link on the paysite. No memberships comes up in their forms. She visits http://www.customersupporthelp.com via a link on the paysite and it says on their site that hardcoresweethearts.com is one or their "supported" websites. She talks to a supportdude, but he can't find any subscription either. Later in the conversation he writes:

Support 247 : The only reason I can see is that, the
hardcoresweetheatsite is not one of the sites we support

uh.. thats weird, it says that you do. She is told to write to their customer support and she does. No answer 4 days later.

I've personally visited all the common billingcompanies with her info trying to find a membership, but nothing showes up. The reservation in her bankstatement revealed no name at that point a few days ago, but just got the info.

She has been charged by "USD 4,87 PROLAST". It says on hardcoresweethearts.com that the site is owned by "Copyright ? 1999 - 2005 Platinum Bucks, All rights reserved.
This is a site of Prolast Limited, Cyprus."

I clicked on their privacy policy on hardcoresweethearts.com and it reveals an email to contact them. e-mail: [email protected] - problem is, the domain isn't even registered.

The whois for hardcoresweethearts.com showes platninumbucks as the owners, atleast I assume so with [email protected] as admin contact.

Remember this is a girl that has never bought porn before. She feels like her card has be hijacked and can't get out. No help to get. After she signed up she started recieving insane amounts of spam, including incest and rape spam. The emails comes with her full name. Seriously, WTF?

This story stinks :/

I had to close down an email of mine after I signed up for a PB site the amount of spam were unbelievable and it will only get worse.

As long as affiliates are getting their checks, they won't care. A lot of sponsors do it and some much worse :Oh crap

The site at question - http://www.hardcoresweethearts.com - is not live yet. We have not yet announced the site to the webmaster community - we will do once we are fully ready and confident with it. However, cancelling your membership to any of our sites, including those not yet live (such as Hardcore Sweethearts) is as easy as clicking here and selecting the site you have joined and the billing processor. Cancelling at https://www.securedatavalidation.com/cancel/ luckily worked. Read the post though, I'm not the one that signed up.

couple of questions:

- Why can anyone sign up if the site isn't finished yet?

- Why couldn't customersupporthelp.com help her when the site is listed with them?

- Why don't customersupporthelp.com answer their emails? (you suggest yourself that one email them)

- Why do you spam new members? (including incest and rape spam)

Glad to hear. If you go back and read my previous post, you'd notice I say how you can access this link via our main support website.

We are testing the site's conversion ratios on our own traffic. I believe we are in our right to do that. As I pointed out earlier, there are cancellation links on our support site, so anyone can cancel their membership.

I am folloiwng up with our support people right now. Usually we do not experience any major problems.

We do not send out incest, rape or anything of that sort. If your friend is getting such e-mails I can guarantee you none of them is coming from us.
