what is your opinion on sales & making money with a single sponsor?
 

Just wanted to hear what folks think of using just one single sponsor on a single domain.

Did you forget everything you learned before or did you just not learn anything?

Dunno about that but when ARS in 2003 pulled away the byots, I lost about 6 months work in recurring revenue from SE's and shit. I wouldn't put my eggs in one basket after that fiasko.

I have a lot of redirect domains. I usually just use 1 sponsor per domain. Also, for my mainstream content network, I only use 1 sponsor usually--Google Adsense. It's decent. I'm sure we can be making more if run a channel/zone based system. I'll be looking into that in a bit.

that's not it. I promote alot of different programs, just notice some sponsors that offer free hosting & i was thinking of throwing up some se & hardlink trade only traffic pages on them since I have a few domains lying around doing nothing. I did want to just build more sites promoting alot of things, but i'm trying to stay focused on updating & generating traffic on a few main projects. I was thinking of using the sponsors free hosting to put some quick things online then forget about them. I figured, if I put up a couple hundred of these, and all of them have a link to my main sites, then i have a couple hundred linkbacks to my main sites.
