But the nic for him comes from a aregetinan term. They use the word Che for man. And in Cuba that was not the word used. So he called everyone Che, and they just nicknamed him that.

When I was a kid, some people thought the guy on the cover of Zig Zag rolling papers was Che Guevara.

Here is the real story behind the guy on the Zig Zag cover...

In the nineteenth century, during the battle of Sevastopol, a Zouave (a soldier in a French infantry unit) had his clay pipe broken by a bullet. He got the brilliant idea of rolling tobacco in a piece of paper torn from his bag of gunpowder. By so doing, he invented the world's first cigarette.

In 1894 Maurice and Jacques Braunstein invented the process of interleaving papers and called their papers Zig-Zag®, the term used to describe the interleaving process. In 1900, Zig-Zag was awarded a gold medal at the Universal Exposition in Paris. For 100 years, as a tribute to that soldier, the image of the Zouave dressed in his bright uniform has been used on all Zig-Zag's premium products.

Ironically, someone actually finally did create Che rolling papers...

Thats quite a statment against a man that was quite a hero and Castros second in command during the revolution - the amount of lives he saved by his "saboteur" activities I guess will go unnoticed by ignorant bashers here.

But then I guess the CIA thought the same way when they killed him (actually a green beret officer that did the killing)

Some Americans that lived in that era still remember quite well his outstanding speeches and the drive and inspiration he gave quite a few of us back then to take action against the US Govt when they had gotten a little out of hand during the vietnam war - and I totally resent any little fucking wimp that wasnt even alive during that time judging what a real hero did overseas as well as here in the US. Some of us (especially the servicemen like I was) are glad that men would have the courage to stand up and speak their minds in the 60s and 70s unlike you twits that just go along with everything youre told by the news media these days (idiots)

Che would be dissappointed with our current crop of anti-establishment leaders.
