I need a payment processor
... but they have to meet certain requirements.. I think maybe I'm looking for too much, and will have to setup my own affiliate program. If I'm wrong, post your solutions here please 8-)
I am selling tangible goods. I need a 1 time sale, and a subscription option, for tangible goods. I need an affiliate program managed by the processor. I need an affiliate refferal program that pays a percentage of sales .. prefferably multi-level. Does this animal exist? |
I'd like to know as well....
|
Lots of thread views, no responses from CC processors or affiliates. Does no-one here sell subscriptions to a tangible product? (Think of a magazine.. or a beer of the month club).. noone?
|
I do, I use netbilling, you can see it in action www.pureghr15.com or www.puremeds.com
For affiliate program we use www.affiliatetracking.net |
Thanks PureMeds.
Anyone have anything with no upfront fees that doesn't require a merchant account, and also meets all the requirements from the original post? |
I do not see why you couldnt use ibill or ccbil or Jettis. Remember, product or not, you just need to ability to rebill. Rebilling doesnt care if its porn or not.
|
The physical product gets to the consumer how?
I may be able to help you out, best thing is to drop me an email with your questions and the specific setup you want to use, I'll let you know if its doable :) [email protected] |
I've been searching through their literature.. starting with IBill. I have a few considerations on them. 1: I think they have an affiliate program, but not a webmaster refferal program. 2:
Webmasters don't trust them right now. I'm reading the CCBill refferers manual, but I don't see anything to support the idea that they have a webmaster refferal program. I don't see a webmaster refferal program on Jettis either.. only an affiliate program. |
Hi KimmyKim! The physical product is shipped to the consumer either by standard mail, or express post.. depending on which they choose. I don't really want to talk about the specifics of the product, yet, but it is a small tangible consumer product which would require periodic replacement, so I think it's appropriate for subscription style billing. The manufacturer can guarantee the product is in the post within 24 hours of recieving an order.

I am still interested in hearing about other processors.. CCBill met all my posted requirements, but they require me to use a shipping method which, according to my rate chart, makes my product non-viable. Hopefully I'm mistaken. But in the meantime, I'd like to hear from anyone else who can offer me a processing solution.

I know iBill has a has a webmaster referral program and I tihnk CCbill does as well.
|
Although Netbilling refuses to answer my basic questions for an interview, I do believe that they would be a viable option for what you are looking for.

what about verisign? i've seen them on several sites (mainstream not porn). it might be worth a look?
|
well, I use Globill, and they have all those bases covered.
|
I didn't think globill does tangible products at all. Verisign requires you to have a merchant account and I don't *think* they meet any of my requirements, unless I'm mistaken.
Still looking. |
Netbilling requires a merchant account. i am going to apply, but I'm high risk (not in the US) so I don't think I'll qualify.

Adultwire - contact me - i have a solution for you

Hi-We handle tangible products, recurring billing and have a referral program. If you don't mind, can you send me some more info about what you are selling? Our shopping cart today does not handle rebills, but maybe there is away around this one. I can be reached at [email protected]. Thanks-Cathy

Do a search for IBill. I have no problems with them, but Cathy (as helpful as she's been) was sent in here to confront the low confidence in IBill's product. Specifically, people have been attacking erroneous reporting and missing sales reports, as well as flaws in their cookie based tracking system.
I personally trust IBill, and I'm willing to bet there's a simple workaround for the cookie problem, but I need my webmasters to have confidence in the billing company or they will not sign up. |
Hi Adultwire,
Sorry for the delayed response. We can surely help with the processing and interface with Affiliatetracking.net who will do the payouts as well for you. Even though you are non-US based, we can most likely help you establish and offshore merchant account. However, their will be an incorporation fee for the offshore account. Since you are selling tangible products, there should be no Visa registration fee. Please contact us directly to discuss all of your options. Thank you, Mitch Farber |
^R3K^,
Please resend you interview questions and we will take care of that immediately. Send them to [email protected] I hope everyone is having a great Monday. Thanks, Mitch Farber |
Hi Mitch. If I do this with a merchant account, I can track & pay the affiliates myself. I am very interested in doing business with you.. I'll call ASAP. Just keep in mind, I don't have this $40000 collateral shit that my local bank wants, nor do I have thousands to pour into registration fees and service charges.
I am also talking with another company that can provide me with a non-merchant account service. Thanks everyone. |
Mitch, I left a message on your VM. When you get a chance, give me shout back.
I'm beggining to find this to be an exercise in good humor. So far, I have dealt with 6 companies who all claimed to have this functionality, and 4 of them are confirmed to not actually have this functionality -- Of the other two, I *think* one of them is mistaken, and the last one is a distant gilmmer of hope with which I forsee huge upfront cash requirements. Well, of all the times that I could be wrong, this one would be the most welcome. |
