Registerfly Sucks

I don't know if any of you guys use this hosting company, but they are the epitome of pure shit.. They never respond to emails, to support tickets, put you on hold for 20 minutes and then disconnect you.. When they do rarely respond, it has nothing to do with what you are asking.. Simply put, these guys are a bunch of morons and you shouldn't use them unless you want to waste countless hours..

MadCat 11-06-2005 06:15 PM

yes i agree

HorseShit 11-06-2005 06:16 PM

you would have to be retarded to use them in the first place

Pipecrew 11-06-2005 06:38 PM

THEY ARE THE WORST, I would never use them as hosting, they are terrible as a registrar alone.

spicycum 11-06-2005 10:55 PM

I register my domains with regfly good deals ($7.99) and they support paypal (well they did) but I would never use them as hosting lol

chaze 11-07-2005 12:08 AM

Simply put, they suck.

The Demon 11-07-2005 03:47 AM

can anyone recomment another hosting company with something equal to registerfily's protectfly?

ssp 11-07-2005 04:11 AM

Yes, http://www.namecheap.com/

They offer WhoisGuard for free with each domain. I would never use Registerfly. I tried to register domains and they charged me but never registered them. Talked to their support numerous times but they've got the brain capacity of a pig. Never got my money back. My advice... go with namecheap and stay the hell away from Registerfly.

okdesign 11-07-2005 04:12 AM

I never had any problems with registerfly.
I have registered over 40 domains with them

The Demon 11-07-2005 08:10 AM

Namecheap has hosting too?

Hentaikid 11-07-2005 11:03 AM

Word. I had a dozen domains with them and I'm still moving them out one by one, because their website times out and logs me out so often it takes all day to just log in and click a few options in the admin. Gah. Plus they double billed me on a rebill. Avoid.

Nicky 11-07-2005 11:16 AM

I have about 40 domains with them, but id never use them for hosting

gangbangjoe 11-07-2005 11:17 AM

i agree they suck

they neede over 2 weeks to simply add founds to my account

u-Bob 11-07-2005 11:18 AM

use namecheap as a registrar.
use AdultEUHost or Dreamhost for hosting.

No they don't offer hosting.

Just keep your domain with protectfly at registerfly and get hosting elsewhere. Why are you looking for hosting at a domain registrar? They do domains, find someone who specializes in hosting and can give you the support you need.

crockett 11-07-2005 11:21 AM

I use several registrars but I have a little over 100 domains at Registerfly and I've never had any real issues with them.

Anytime I've ever opened a support ticket, it was taken care of in a reasonable amount of time.

warlock5 11-07-2005 11:43 AM

Registerfly for hosting? :1orglaugh

I've been using them for about a year. When I first registered a few domains their UI was fucked up and it was a pain in the ass. But, I haven't had any problems since.

The Demon 11-07-2005 11:43 AM

Thanks for the info guys
