I found this strange but it made sense.
A friend of mine made a killer spaghetti dish and told me that he grinded up 3 multi-vitamins and put it into the sauce. He has ground up vitamins in a shaker and uses it on almost all of his food.
I asked him why he did this and he told me that if he took just the pills then they usually make him sick. If he grinds them up and adds some to his food through-out the day then it fortifies all of his food with vitamins. I couldn't taste the pills in the food and it was actually a rather tasty dish. It makes a lot of sense but on the other hand I find it rather odd. Have you ever heard of anyone else doing this? |
Honestly I haven't heard of anyone doing that. As long as the vitamins aren't leeched by the sauce or otherwise lost in the cooking process, I don't see any issues with what he's doing.

No, but I know that taking them on an empty stomach will make you vomit.
|
good idea i guess, if you can't take them straight up.. :upsidedow

Not with old ones.. but I knew parents used to do this with their kids...

never thought to do something like that before!

You know if you eat like you should eat you dont need extra vitamins?

Nothing's wrong about that thing as long as it doesn't affect the taste of the food.
