This problem has been in France, especially around Marsailles for decades. Over time it has spread to other regions, - some being on the outskirts of Paris and other towns. There is a reason for the outbreaks of rioting - think on it.

True, but it has been more than a week already. They have to do something, they cannot provide security for people in that area and the riots are only spreading. Muslim youngsters are even encouraging the riots to disrupt public life. So far their (lack of) actions haven't given me any confidence in a solution.

Well I'm sorry but I don't have such faith in them. Material damage I can live with, but as soon as someone is seriously injured or dies because of riots that's where I draw the line, and so should they.

The whole thing is a bit more complicated than 5 lines on a chat board in my oppinion.. There is a history in those areas for decades. They have been neglected by the government for years, simply putting them down with force will make them just spring up in more places.
