You're probably right. After I checked out this post I went through my logs and noticed in one day the baidu bot hit my site 75 different times. Think i'll just go ahead and block all traffic that comes from asia now (no big deal to me, I don't use any dialers for foreign traffic or anything so the traffic from them won't be of any good use to me anyways).

So it only took 11k+ to take down gfy? :helpme


I'd put my money on a ddos with masked referrer info. Hotlinking (alone the idea of hotlinkin bringing down a site?) from a major SE just seems a bit.. fishy.
