Wow. Early morning tornado warnings.

Tennessee, Kentucky and Ohio seem to be fun places to be this morning. The barometric pressure changed so abruptly in Nashville that it woke me out of a sound, DRUGGED sleep. (I strained my back a couple of days ago and was trying to sleep it off under the relaxing influence of Fortamet and tylenol).

I'll stay up for a while yet, just to watch and see what happens here, in case I need to wake the family.

Okay, danger is over for the metro Nashville area. Just rain and wind.

The severe stuff is tracking eastward at about 30 mph, and is bringing with it the tornados and lightning.

What a way to wake up on a Sunday morning. :)

Nice. :)

I'm a weather junkie. This is one of those things I love to see and feel. Raw power is a beautiful thing.

We used to get Tornado warnings all the time, but the past 3-5 years it has been really slow.

Yeah, it is.

That front that came through was pretty wild, traveling at 60mph. I am in Evansville. That tornado here was heading right for us, then ended up crossing about 1.5 miles from here. It did some real damage. Made me want to build a concrete house.

:)

that's just very scary. I hope everybody's prepared.
