those are points or votes that deam you worthy of joining the Boneprone Family.

If you have zero, that means no family member has "referred" you yet.

To get into the family you need a minimum of 3 referals from actual family members to get in.

earn the trust and like of the family and they will give you a referal.

Once you have the 3 referals, and your check has cleared for your deposit, first and last month's memberhip dues you are in.

it means you suck

The administrator may have enabled referrals, which allows you to be credited for any new users you invite to the forum.

You gain referrals by promoting GFY Webmaster Board using your unique referral link. The link you should use as your referral link is this:

Each time someone follows this link to GFY Webmaster Board and registers as a new member, your referral count will be incremented by one. The number of referrals you have can be viewed in your profile.
