Best way to send $$$ overseas?
I need to send money to the Czech Republic on a regular basis, and would rather not pay the $40/wire fee everytime. Is there a better alternative?
Paypal won't send to Czech Republic (those accounts are send only) Moneybookers says they limit uploads on credit cards to about $60 per 60 days, which makes it useless. ePassporte would be a pain to set up for my receiver (it was for me, and I'm in the States), and if I'm sending over $800, their loading fees will be more than the wire Any other suggestions? |
How about wire transfer from the bank?

Fed ex checks overnight?

Check western union out or even bidpay.com - Walmart has a cheap wire transfer service as well. Just a thought |

Western union is about $25 for $1000. Varies by country and amount. But should give you an idea.

Another option I did while setting up a company over seas was to send a cash card. I would deposit money and they could draw it out. Works well if you can keep overdraft protection off the account.

The cash card idea sounds good if I want to just send to one company... Might explore that further |
