had to gat a late night bite to eat tonight - and after it - only a $16 bill Jman left a $20 on the table. on the street the manager came out and accused us of not paying. I was ready to kill the mother fucker - seriously - and Jman just paid him off - but i was pissed beyond imagine. I don't like being accuised of not paying up like that - esp for $16 fucking dollars. I spat on the guy and called him a fucking theif and screamed for the police to come over. he scampered away

would it not have been better to have explained that you had left the $20 on the table?

i did - the fucker went on that it said on the bill to pay the cashier in small print.

we asked the server if we could pay her - she said OK

it's why i was soooo pissed off

its an honor thing. you think the guy would be a bit more common sensed. wouldnt you run like hell if you were trying to dodge the bill. guess the guy is lucky he didnt get an ass whipping.

and i would not have paid him off. would have found that waitress and had her ass fired if that 20 wasnt on the table.

Doesn't have to be the waitress....could have been another customer too I've caught one doing that to me before when I left the cash on the table.....now I give it straight to the waitress so she doesnt have to pay it out of her own pocket.
