How the fuck is this trick done?

I can't work it out, especially the one in the restaurant.

He has an assistant scuba diving under the boat who plants the card on the window. The window is prepared ahead of time so you can't see his arm come up when the scuba guy, (I'll call him scuba steve), sticks it to the window. Notice how you never see the side where she writes on it?

Then he has the real card in his napkin the whole time and pretends to reach through the window, but scuba steve is removing the card from the window, (probably using a fishing line attached to it or something).

The only tricky part is the timing for sticking it on the window.

I give it 5 out of 10.

If you watch it frame by frame then you'll see how he does it. Quite amazing if you ask me. :thumbsup

Too fast to catch with the human eye. :2 cents:

That Chris angel did the same trick a few episodes ago. I can't figure out how they do that.

nice but heres one closer to reality..

The window is made up of 2 seperate windows , the one window is built in a foot below the actual window.. at the moment the napkin is placed over the window , the whole window is slid up using air compression

wedouglas 11-05-2005 12:14 AM

That's pretty much what I thought too but the restaurant has a huge window and there's no one around to stick the card on the outside. That's the one that got me stumped.

look at the picture i made of the chris angel stunt above, same concept.

Nobody needs to be outside. The glass is slid up , the real glass is twice the height , most of the glass is hidden below the window ledge when the cards are thrown at the window , the glass is slid up to reveal the card behind.

You have to ask yourself . If the card is really the same card why wouldn't he flip it the right way around ?
