Have problems with iBill been resolved?

Recently iBill seemed to be having major problems.

Is everything working now or should I avoid sponsor programs that only use iBill?

iBill-Cathy 03-15-2002 09:10 AM

Gang-all of last months RevShare issues have been resolved. Reporting should be up to date and accurate. In addition, we have created a RevShare ID log to ensure that your sales are being tracked properly. You can test to see if the system is working properly by clicking on your banner, choosing one of the join options, and viewing the source on the iBill pay page.
In the source code, you should be able to see your RevShare id in the value field of the RevSharer id text line.

And...if you didn't understand a word of that, feel free to send your affiliate banner URL to [email protected] and we'll test it for you.

Cathy

Any news on half the rebills most of us ex ibill clients lost last year?

I know for other people its been worse then me..

I saw my income with ibill slowy decrease and decrease and still decrease.

ldinternet 03-15-2002 09:24 AM

guess which ibill sponsor i'm using, and win a free tray of almond rocca!

hits

full month
1

rebill

ratio

payout

to be fair, i'm sending all my error traffic straight to the sponsor, and they're recording every single bit of it (including hotlinkers) so i shouldn't expect great conversions. ;)

Ted 03-15-2002 09:36 AM

Thats like $0.0003 a click.

how many clicks do you plan on sending before you change it?

ldinternet 03-15-2002 09:48 AM

thats raw traffic... as i said, it includes traffic where i'm being img src'ed. i changed it already. ;)

Bill-Cathy,

<b>[This is not directed at you, for you may, I repeat MAY, be an ok person... Below is for any and all IBILL assholes now trying to crawl up our butts to win back favour]</b>

<font color="aqua"><b>Checking source means NOTHING...</b></font> That only helps when the problems are full time errors and the fuckups are happening like 90% of the time...

Even before the majority heard of all of the Ibill fuckups Ibill would randomly seem to drop Revshareid's... If that happens only 2-5% of the time we lose money, but also don't have the time to keep clicking the dam joins to check that your shit is working correctly!!

For those sponsers that have departed you and those webmasters whose sponsers give them a choice of biller in Ibill or another biller, such as Jetbill, <font color="yellow">YOU NEED TO PROVE YOURSELVES WORTHY</font> of being a valid choice,(no more crap about VIEW SOURCE).

You don't even admit to mistakes when they come up, you're all set to blame the sponsers 1st and anything else you can 2nd... and when there is no 3rd you still try to wriggle out of admitting <font color="yellow"><b>YOU FUCKED UP!!</b></font>

Get your shit together IBILL... When you make an error DON'T try to hide it.. Admit to it and say what you are doing to rectify it.

Maybe if you start being open and honest with the adult community again you might win back some favour.

I know of webmasters to date who are still missing LOTS of FEBUARY signups... BTW - They saw their revshare codes on view sources in Febuary when they looked also... SO WTF!!

Who gives a fuck if you can still send out checks on time if you mess up the join page or lose signups elsewhere along the billing line.

<font color="orange">GET THINGS FIXED... DON'T BLAME OTHERS FOR <b>YOUR</b> FUCKUPS!!</font>

There are still webmasters with signups showing on your stats that have a corresponding line of 0's [zeros] .. SAD, BLOODY PATHETIC!!

Also many sponsers when there's a creditcard sale that gets listed as a signed up, the TP REVENUE, that's supposed to only show PRODUCT SALES, also ends up getting a line of information in it.. All be-it with a line of zeros.. This time the zeros are correct for there wasn't a product sale,(talking normal porn signups here), but there shouldn't even be anything added to the TP REVENUE.

<b>BLOODY PATHETIC!!</b>

Later, RIPP

I second that :)

Nothing like wondering were your Ibill checks are, then discovering the bulk of your rebills are GONE.

Your exactly right!

I had last year around 15K a month coming in from ibill
started to drop slowly, then a good 40% of rebills dissapeared into smoke just like many other webmasters..

My income now from ibill is half that now, most my business is with other companys now..

I was a "premeium account"

That dont mean shit at ibill now, it did sometime ago..

Customer service is horrible among other things..

I dont want to turn this into another ibill thread, but the damage from ibill has been done.. Cathy is a bit to late, but never the less is here fix the damage..

Ripp-Hopefully what you are seeing is that we are trying to do a better job of communicating with our clients. Also, we take full responsibility for any system errors or inaccurate reporting. If you and other RevSharers still having issues that you outlined in your note, please contact me at [email protected] and we'll do everything we can to resolve. Cathy

Oh that's rich....30% gone...you gonna show me where my money went?

TheFLY 03-15-2002 01:45 PM

IBill needs to notify all revsharers when there is a problem with the system... Doing otherwise is deceptive... I've never received a single email from IBill. The CMI news page is totally useless -- and doesn't seem to work at all w/ some programs.

Does IBill correctly track surfers w/o cookies?

I've heard suggestions that there are (or were) paysites w/ the IBill software incorrectly installed (maybe on purpose?) -- anyway maybe there needs to be some kind of audit system on IBill's part to ensure their reputation -- to ensure that everything is being tracked properly... otherwise IBill gets a bad name at the expense of a few misinformed or crooked webmasters...

...or just continue to ignore the webmasters that push your system every day and watch your numbers keep falling ;)

funkmaster 03-15-2002 02:16 PM

... could somebody please post a list of sponsors that still use ibill, just curious ...

Shoplifter 03-15-2002 04:35 PM

Just like Greentea we have seen about 40% of our rebills just go poof since last November. There were some days when Ibill would cancel 20 or more memberships seemingly arbitrarily, and then the next day we would get emails from clients wondering why they can't connect. Almost all the gains we made in 2001 were just thrown away.

Things have been quiet from Ibill for a month or so, but there is a long long way to go in terms of soothing those who were hurt recently. There are still too many mysterious things ahappening and too many declines.
